Type Locality and Naming
By the spring of Vaush, South Nuratau Ridge. I. A. Pyanova et al., 1986 (371, p.49-50). Stratotype in the area of the Vaush spring.
Synonym: Vaush Suite, Варшская св.
Lithology and Thickness
Quartz sandstones, mica-quartz sandstones with admixture of gravel material and phyllitic slates, albite-sericite-quartz slates with layers and packages of dolomites and dolomitized limestones. Thickness 450m.

Contacts with underlying rocks are unknown

With the overlying Sappensk Fm – tectonic

Southern foothills of the South Nuratau Ridge.

Fossils
Contains stromatoporoids Ecclimadictyon cf. fastigiatum (Nich.), Ec. cf. pandum Nestor.,
Clavidictyon">Clavidictyon (?) sp.; amphiporoids - Paramphipora sp., Amphipora sp., Amphiporidae; corals - Scoliopora sp. ind.; fragments of rugose corals, characterizing the Early Silurian (Wenlock)–Late Silurian–Early Devonian age of the rocks.
